Or, in this case, brown and darker brown. So sexy.

The interior of my ‘76 Delta 88.

I agree, though that Buick is too much for me. I need these seats/door cards for my Golf.

Correct.

“GM interiors suck”
![]() 05/28/2015 at 19:27 |

I honestly doubt if I would be able to tell the difference between that and a contemporary Mercedes, Audi, etc.

It looks better than Merc or Audi

Buick has a nice brown but their red/purple “Sangria” interior is so much more beautiful.

I really like this stitching.

Yes, you would. There is actual styling.

I have had two of these on the lot. It’s incredibly ugly in person. Also, contrast ice blue stitching in the “tan.”

SAME

I saw one in person the other day and loved it. One thing insanely striking to me about the LaCrosse is how narrow it is. It’s a long-ish car, it’s tall as fuck, but it’s weirdly narrow for what it is, and due to thick doors even moreso on the inside. Looked comfy as hell, though.

It’s a nifty design characteristic, I just wish it was somehow integrated into the design language of the whole car. Maybe some sort of sweep-spear nod or something like that in the divide between the two colors.

The country song I hear 400000 times a day on the radio at work has utterly ruined the word “sangria” for me.

Blake Shelton? They play that too much on our stations to.

I can attest to their long trip comfort. 13 hours in the driver’s seat. Also, the sound was good. They are a bit narrow and tall. I think with the re-design and the move to the newest Epsilon platform (Impala, XTS) it may lose some of those awkward proportions.
![]() 05/29/2015 at 09:45 |

Yay! Sweep-spear in a less awkward package would be fantastic

Yup. Honestly country music annoys the hell out of me, which is odd considering I grew up on a farm. Cowboy hats? If you aren’t currently riding a horse, cut that shit out. Big belt buckle? The fuck outta here. Southern accents? No. Just no. Shirt tucked into the front of your pants just to show off your belt buckle? I will weld it to my rear bumper and drive down the interstate with you attached, fucking hayseed trash.
I blame highschool.

Hahaha! I like how you think

Couldn’t agree more! I am hotly anticipating the next round of Buick designs. I think their sales will rebound with the next generation.

Aren’t their sales already doing pretty well? I see LaCrosses absolutely everywhere around here, and a ton of their crossovers

I think year over year the Buick cars (as well as the Enclave) are all kind of off. The Encore is the biggest bright spot for them right now but their product (and their advertising) may be getting a little long in tooth.

The non-GS Regal is a pretty sharp looking car
![]() 05/29/2015 at 16:33 |

Oh, I couldn’t agree more. I think it’s more of a perception and marketing thing. I’d buy a Regal in a heartbeat if I could make it happen.
![]() 05/29/2015 at 16:47 |

I would die for an automatic AWD Regal GS for a daily driver. I’d swap a non-GS bumper onto it, though. The GS is a hot mess.
![]() 05/30/2015 at 09:42 |

Agreed. The simple, understated elegance of the base model’s look is much better than the overwrought front end of the GS.
